Dr. Demitry completed his medical residency training and research fellowship at Harvard Medical School in 1998, and was selected as the Chief Resident in his class. He is a Hyperbaric Physician certified by the American Professional Wound Care Association, and is a Diplomat (Board Certified) of the American College of Occupational and E

He is a Hyperbaric Physician certified by the American Professional Wound Care Association, and is a Diplomat (Board Certified) of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine
He is a member of the Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society through which he stays up to date on new Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) research, after first starting working with HBOT in the 1980s. He has been with Integrative Hyperbaric since 2018, and enjoys helping patients and veterans heal and recover with medical grade Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
Dr Demitry is the
Executive Director of the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine, and values utilizing an integrative approach to Hyperbaric medicine.
He is also the Chief Technology Editor for the leading business publication dedicated to physicians, ‘Today’s Practice’.
Dr Demitry served as a flight surgeon in the Air Force, is a Fellow of the Aerospace Medical Association, and a lifetime member of the Society of Experimental Test Pilots. He has piloted over 37 types of jet aircraft logging over 2,300 fighter and flight test hours and has been transitioning medical technologies since his Air Force retirement.

Jay West is the Hyperbaric Technician Manager and Marketing Specialist for Integrative Health and Hyperbaric. He completed training as an EMT with multiple emergent care certifications through AEC and obtained his Hyperbaric Technician certification through IHMF.

He enjoys working with patients to help improve their conditions and quality of life, as well as outreaching in the community to help as many patients and physicians as possible through hyperbaric and integrative medicine. Jay works with Dr. Peter Demitry, MD to deliver the most effective and pleasant hyperbaric experience possible at the clinic.

Calista Petrie has enjoyed participating in patient care at Integrative Health & Hyperbaric as the Office Manager and Medical Assistant and has been with the family owned practice since opening in 2010. She developed a passion for healthcare from a young age descending from 3 generations of women doctors and practitioners and was accepted in the MENSA high IQ society at age four. Calista attended Fairfax High School, followed by Graham Webb Academy for cosmetology, before proceeding to earn her Registered Medical Assistant from American Medical Technologists. She completed a certification in Functional Nutrition from Institute for Functional Medicine and has completed numerous accredited CME certificate courses in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, endocrine and hormonal disorders, environmental immunology, HIPPA and OSHA safety and security, human resources, and disease risk factors.Give customers a reason to do business with you.
