On-Label Indications:

We specialize in treating the following FDA Approved indications typically covered by most insurances, when meeting the following criteria:

• Caring for Cancer/Delayed Radiation Injury: Residual symptoms from radiation for any cancer type including most common breast, prostate, colorectal, bladder, lung, thyroid as well as less frequent cancer types. Includes soft tissue radionecrosis and radiation cystitis.
• Compromised Skin Grafts/Flaps: Preparation and preservation, often in post-surgical patients including cosmetic, reconstructive and dermatology.   
• Common Dental/Osteo Indications: Osteoradionecrosis common in head and neck cancer patients and refractory Osteomyelitis bone infections.  
• Podiatry/Diabetic Wounds: Lower extremity wounds Wagner Grade III+ that have failed adequate course of standard wound therapy, and lower leg refractory Osteomyelitis.  
• Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss: <30dB hearing loss within 30-60 days of SSHL, refractory to steroid therapy for 2 weeks.
• Blood Loss Anemia: Often in cancer patients post or undergoing certain chemotherapy and/or all radiation types, GI bleeds and CKD.  
• Vascular Indications: Acute Peripheral Arterial Insufficiencies including Crush Injuries.  
• Less Frequent Indications: Acute carbon monoxide intoxication, Decompression Illness, Necrotizing soft tissue infections, Gas Embolism/Gangrene.

Referral Process: 

Prescription Consult: Medical grade HBOT requires a prescription from a Hyperbaric Physician, with the required clearance consult completed with Dr Rajesh Mehra prior to the patient starting HBOT. 

On-Label Indications: These require a referral form and clinicals. We are happy to help complete the referral and send for the referring doctor's signature after connecting with the doctor or patient. We also complete any pre-authorization required for HBOT.

Off-Label Indications: These do not require a referral form, but sometimes require clinicals for clearance depending on the patients case, which we can help obtain.

We do not participate with Medicaid, BCBS/Anthem, Aetna, or HMO policies.
